Kathy Bishop

Kathleen is President of Cowan Financial Group. She holds the Certified Financial Fiduciary, Certified Wealth Strategist, and Chartered Life Underwriter designations along with multiple securities and insurance licenses. She is also a Certified Bucket Plan Adviser.

Kathy joined Cowan Financial Group in 1989 and has over 35 years experience in the insurance and financial services industry. Kathy enjoys working with her clients and believes that you need to take a holistic approach to each client’s specific needs. Kathy uses a holistic planning approach that explains income planning to clients and purposefully structures assets throughout the phases of life.

She is a past board member of INK, Investing in Kids, in St. Johns County and a current volunteer for the organization.

Kathy resides in St. Augustine with her husband, Harry, German Shepherd Sophie and cat Bella. She and her husband are owners of Ace Firearms and enjoy camping, target shooting, and photography.
